Fishing
Needless to say, we are the favourite for tilapia and bass fishing in Pretoria. Jump on a raft or take a trip on the paddle boats. Bass and Tilapia are catch & release. Bass Lake Lodge also offer Trout fishing during the winter months. Any trout caught must be bought at R200.00p/kg and may not be released back into the Lake. Day visit fees: Adults R150.00 per person Children under 12: R75.00 per child We have a restaurant with delicious meals at Bass Lake Lodge. No picnics or own drinks are allowed. Day visit hours: Friday – Sunday 08:00 – 16:00 Bookings essential.
Picnics
We are very proud to be able to offer yummy picnics! Collect your picnic sharing basket and choose a tranquil spot on the farm, ideal for a small get-together with friends or family. Upon arrival, please make your way to Reception at the Lodge. Your picnic box will then be brought to you. • Additional beverages can be purchased from the Bar at the Lodge. • Menu items are packed in a wooden sharing box. • No self-catering allowed. • Please inform us of any allergies or special dietary requirements when you make your booking. • Kindly bring your own flowers and additional decor required. Photo Shoots
Landscapes include grasslands, diverse wooded areas, dams, wooden piers and mountains. The ruins of old buildings makes the perfect backdrop for unique and interesting pictures. Perfect for couples, engagements, maternity, family, baby, pre-function, matric farewell and lots more! R550 per shoot. Bookings essential. Bring your own Photographer.

Saturdays are cake days with heavenly freshly baked cakes, baked by our own Pastry Chef, Lichelle Sykes.
